Your responsibilities
As an Process Safety Engineer within our team, you'll be pivotal in achieving operational excellence across RWE Generation's diverse technologies. Collaborating closely with asset management teams in Gas, Biomass, and Hydro Technologies, your role will be instrumental in driving harmonization and continuous process improvement.

As the process expert, you'll oversee overarching processes and systems, ensuring alignment and optimizing our operations for efficiency and safety.   • Lead Development: Drive the development of the Process Safety domain in collaboration with Technology Business Capability coordinators
  • Standardization: Co-develop and standardize methods, processes, and systems to ensure consistent performance across technologies
  • Process Management: Act as the expert in end-to-end process management, driving continuous improvement and governance
  • System Expertise: Implement, improve, and deliver expertise on generation-wide systems such as SAP
  • Digital Transformation: Support digital transformation initiatives, driving digitalization across technologies
  • Best Practices: Benchmark and translate best practices across industries to achieve world-class performance

Your profile

  • Education: University degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience with a commitment to lifelong learning
  • Expertise: Strong expertise in processes and management
  • Skills: Demonstrated analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Focus: International focus with a drive to improve business results
  • Team Player: Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, assertive, and decisive
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel
  • Language: Proficiency in English preferably with either Dutch or German as a proficiency
