Impression Recruitment are pleased to be searching for a candidate with a strong administrative background well-suited to this Procurement Administrator position on behalf of a client who are passionate about having a positive impact in everything they do. They have recently secured a new location where they plan for their stock to be transferred to and your role will be to assist the Procurement Manager in accurately overseeing this exciting transition. The contract will be for a 2-3 month period initially with the potential of a slight extension depending on how the project goes.
As a successful Procurement Administrator your duties will include:
* Managing the transfer of stock from one location to a new location.
* Update purchase orders to reflect change of delivery to the new location.
* Build up all reservations to eliminate the risk of duplication on orders.
* Set up all stock keeping units for the new location.
* Ensure a smooth transition of stock going in and out of the new location.
* Check stock levels to ensure no disruption and guaranteeing a successful production process.
Skills required to be successful in your application:
* Experience of Microsoft Navision would be an advantage but not essential.
* Previous experience dealing with an ERP system.
* Experience in procurement / stock handling preferable.
* Stock management experience preferable.
* Strong administrative background with an eye for detail and accuracy.
