The Procurement Team, which sits within the Business Transformation and Change Directorate, gives advice and guidance on Procurement and contract management matters and supports all areas of the Council when goods, works and services and being tendered.
As part of this team, you will have a range of responsibilities such as co-ordinating the post, managing the team mailboxes, printing and binding contracts, updating databases/spreadsheets and supporting Officers with their Procurement and contract management activities.
You will need to be able to manage your own workload to ensure deadlines are met and be able to prioritise when required. You may be the first point of contact with the Procurement Team therefore a high level of customer service and excellent communication skills are important.
