Sanderson are currently working alongside our lead client to recruit a Technology Procurement and Contracts Manager, the role will play a crucial part in their Technology Procurement function,
The role is a hybrid position working from a central Manchester location.
As a Technology Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will report directly to the Technology Procurement Leader, The role is diverse, encompassing tasks throughout the entire procurement process, providing excellent opportunities for career development.
Key responsibilities include overseeing tender exercises, managing and administering contracts, conducting market reviews, preparing and negotiating contracts, managing the technology supply chain, and serving as a trusted business advisor to functional leaders and service owners across the broader network.
Key Areas and Responsibilities of the Role:
- Risk Management: Take the lead in negotiating robust contracts, demonstrating expertise with minimal reliance on legal counsel input.
Propel the continuous development of best-practice procurement processes, seamlessly integrating Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into the supply chain.
- Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted business advisor to functional leaders and service owners across the organisation.
Foster close collaboration with internal stakeholders to cultivate effective and suitable relationships with suppliers.
- Strategic Sourcing: Oversee technology sourcing activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and values
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, specifically within the realm of technology procurement.
- Profound negotiation skills, coupled with the capability to formulate robust contracts.
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes and adherence to best practices.
- Knowledgeable about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations in supply chain management.
- Exceptional proficiency in relationship management and communication.
- Highly desirable qualification: CIPS certification
Salary; GBP46,750 - GBP57,800, plus excellent benefits
