Purchasing Assistant
Temporary 
South Wigston - LE18 
Up to £26,000 (£12.30 - £13.33 per hour) 
Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
SF Recruitment's Professional Services division is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join a company in South Wigston. In this role, you will oversee and manage the procurement of products, ensuring efficient and accurate purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Allocate branch stock adjustments. 
- Data Handling: Process all data creation and change requests promptly.
- Purchase Order Supervision: Oversee the allocation of purchase orders to purchasing staff.
- Authorisation Compliance: Ensure all necessary authorisations are obtained before processing purchase orders.
- Product Sourcing: Identify and secure the best pricing for non-mainstream products.
- Order Tracking: Ensure all purchase orders are followed up and progress chased.
- Stock Checks: Assist in biannual companywide stock checks.
- Inventory Utilisation: Maximise the use of company stock before making new purchases.
- Enquiries and Quotations: Manage the processing of all enquiries and quotations.
