An exciting opportunity to join an established procurement team who will be able to offer full support to your career development. This is a role at the heart of the wider regions public services where the work that you do will have a direct impact on the community.
Main Responsibilities include;

• To act as procurement advisor and expert for chosen areas and to implement and develop procurement strategies
• To lead effective contract management and design new commercial arrangements
• To be responsible for managing contract negotiation, planning and placing of contracts
• Effectively manage suppliers and contracts to sustain the best value for money throughout the contract lifecycle
• To effectively manage stakeholders at all levels
• Ensure all procurements are carried out in accordance with EU Procurement legislation

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Experience managing the full procurement lifecycle
• Experience working within a Public Sector procurement function and knowledge of Public Sector regulations
• Broad category or procurement experience
• Experience in managing stakeholders
