My client is a Procurement Consultancy Firm powerhouse. Since being established over 20 years ago they have enjoyed steady and consistent growth and are now working with some of the largest and most popular brands from around the world. They are now looking to take on an ambitious Procurement Consultant to join their developing team and contribute to their market-leading mission.

As a Procurement Category Lead you will deliver innovative supply chain solutions, helping clients to reduce costs, and streamline their Procurement processes. In doing so you will work across all procurement sectors - including, but not limited to FMCG Procurement, Healthcare Procurement, Retail Procurement, and Hospitality Procurement - gaining an immense array of experience. Working within a Consultancy Firm means you are not limited by the traditional hierarchy of progression and consequently can potentially move rapidly up the Procurement seniority chain to Head of Procurement positions within 12-18 months.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Using your commercial insight to unlock opportunities for growth and influencing key stakeholders to support your Procurement plans.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within various blue-chip clients, to fully understand their vision for continuous improvement.
• Delivering on a range of traditional strategic procurement activities - including but not limited to, supplier analysis, contracting and negotiations, contract management and supplier relationship management.

You will have:

• Extensive experience within the Procurement industry, ideally acquired across multiple categories, both direct and indirect.
• Demonstrable experience of successfully managing and influencing senior clients and stakeholders.
• A track record of managing high amounts of spend and delivering on cost reduction and commercial success.
• A strong academic background, ideally through a degree in a procurement or supply chain related qualification.

Procurement candidates must have full rights to work in the UK and be 100% business fluent in English.
