Salary: £38,000 - £43,000
Burman Recruitment are currently working with a higher education client based in Sheffield on the search for a Procurement Category Manager on an permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- To spearhead the provision of a reliable and expert service, guaranteeing excellence in customer service that corresponds with the University's Strategy. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and assess broader implications for the University to facilitate both operational and strategic decision-making processes.
- Participate in advancing service development and innovation by evaluating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards within the designated area. Analyse and interpret management data, conduct benchmarking, and integrate customer feedback mechanisms to foster ongoing enhancement efforts.
- Collaborating effectively across professional services to ensure the delivery of consistent and top-tier services. Taking charge of and engaging in both internal and external networks and communities of practice. Leading and exerting influence within project teams, working groups, and meetings.
