Job Introduction

The Strategic Procurement and Contracts Team are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and positive individual to fill our vacancy for a Procurement & Contracts Officer Level II who will work in the Wellbeing & Children’s category. 

This is a permanent role, perhaps for someone looking to move into Procurement and Contracts management who has excellent IT skills including advanced use of Excel.

You will work closely with the rest of the team supporting Adult Social care contracts in preparing and collating data in relation to payments, care fee uplifts and undertaking necessary contract change documentation.

You will provide support to future procurement programmes of work, assisting to developing and collating of tender documentation and managing the procurement end to end process. 

You will be very busy in the role juggling many pieces of work, so excellent time management and organisational skills are key along with working with a variety of individuals both internal and external

Experience of public sector procurement would be advantageous, however so is the ability to be flexible, personable and understanding as the Wellbeing and Children’s category is about services to vulnerable people and supporting families.

This is a hybrid role, which is split between the office in central Bournemouth and working at home over 5 days per week. Currently subject to work demands, there is an expectation that you will work in the central office one day per week.
