This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly successful and innovative Procurement Department. The successful candidate will assist the company to focus its Procurement Strategy, strengthen its relationships with its suppliers and enable more efficient and economical procurement processes. You will play a key part in the successful operation of the procurement department from initial order requisition to updating key systems, helping with sourcing and cost savings, and helping to build and maintain supplier relationships
What we're looking for:
- Educated to GCSE level minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel
- Ability to pick up new processes and systems quickly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work off own initiative
The finer elements of the role:
- Inputting and processing purchase requisitions and orders
- Updating Microsoft Dynamics Nav system with correct pricing and item details
- Compiling expected delivery info from suppliers and updating systems internally
- Maintaining and updating internal databases
- Escalating order delays and supply issues to Procurement Manager
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Assisting with sourcing requirements as and when required
- Assisting Procurement Manager with administrative tasks related to wider Procurement and business objectives
