Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Assistant to join a Public sector organisation based in Lancashire.
The Role:
- Ensure purchases are made in accordance with organisational procurement policies and procedures and comply with all relevant standards and statutory requirements
- Apply procurement plans set out by the Procurement Manager
- Support stakeholders with procurement queries in relation to POs, invoicing, receipting etc.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Support large-scale procurement tenders and projects
- Stick to procurement plan to support in delivery of organisations procurement strategy
The Person:
- Experience within providing quotes
- Experience of assisting with tenders
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- CIPS desirable
