About the role
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management of equipment, materials and site services for any specified requirements as set out by the ENGIE UK business forming part of the T&G organisation. Support in the development of a standardised approach in terms or processes, systems, people to successfully deliver a UK centric support service to the ENGIE UK businesses.
ENGIE are recruiting for aTransactional Procurement Managerbased in Stublach Site Office, Northwich. This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the “Procure to Receive” process to drive efficiency and reduce non-compliance.
- Implement cost savings initiatives and execute programs that support category management goals.
- Expand role and influence of transactional procurement across the organisation.
- Ensure that delivery of the product or the service is compliant with the contractual terms (time, quality, price …)
- Help define the policies, targets and KPIs.
- Help adapt the governance principles to his/her Entity.
- Apply the governance and implement suitable organisational procedures.
- Implement procedures, information systems and tools.
- Adapt the supplier management strategy to the required scope.
- Guarantee all Group rules and policies are correctly applied throughout the procurement/supply process.
- Management, mentoring and continued development of a small team of procurement professionals
Key Requirements
- Considerable exposure to each stage of the procurement process from requisition to pay.
- Experience and ability to work in a dynamic environment balancing demands of day-to-day workload and general operational requirements.
- Minimum Level 4 CIPS qualified and with a willingness to work towards full CIPS accreditation
- Considerable exposure of purchasing activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records/audit trails.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and virtual teams
