Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager (3/4 Month Contract)

Location: Reading/Hybrid

Contract: 2 Days/week

I'm working with a growing international business to recruit an experienced Procurement professional to initiate the development of their procurement strategy and process.

They are looking for a background in both services/indirect spend, and materials and 3rd party manufacturing.

You will scope the current agreements, looking to implement appropriate process with current suppliers, and input into any new contractual agreements being created.

You will be responsible for:

• Assessing current contracts, identifying and delivering cost savings and ensuring process is followed.
• Guiding internal stakeholders through the requirements of the procurement process.
• Managing the tendering & contract negotiation activities.
• Advising on best procurement policy, process, and strategy.
• Supplier management, and identifying supplier rationalisation projects.

Requirements:

• Background in materials and services/indirect procurement.
• Involved in developing procurement processes and procurement strategy.
• Experienced in leading tendering process, and negotiating and implementing procurement contracts.
• Promoting professional procurement approach within an organisation.
• Identifying cost saving opportunities and developing strategy to deliver savings.
