Salary One of our leading private healthcare clients are looking for a dynamic Procurement Manager to join their pathology team!
With specific and high level Laboratory Experience the Procurement Manager will ensure best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions, whilst managing a small team to support our key stakeholder with the procurement of outsourced pathology services.
Essential Experience required to be considered:
*Laboratory Procurement Expert
*Category Management
*End user interfacing
*Clinical Market Expert
*Planning for the future & close to market trends
*Has developed and used knowledge about suppliers to build strategies, create leverage, mitigate risks, anticipate direction of the market and potential supplier direction.
*Sourcing process skills: Demonstrate a thorough understanding and accountability for the sourcing process for their assigned portfolio. Including market research, bid preparation, RFI, Strategy Development & Validation, SQ, RFP/ITT, Contract Negotiations, and contract launch.
*4 years procurement experience with a proven track record of delivery against targets
*Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience
*Experienced negotiator
*Supplier relationship management and project management experience
*Accomplished user of e-Procurement systems, Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access, Outlook
Desirable
* Understanding of EU Directives
* Understanding of Group Purchasing Organisations
* Member or training to be a member of the Chartered Institute of purchasing and
Supply, and works in accordance with the CIPS Code of Ethics
The role comes with an excellent package and has a hybrid working model.
Based in London with occasional travel to the Midlands.
