Established in 1999, our client an award-winning business headquartered in Kings Lynn that boasts a beautiful portfolio of natural stone garden accessories, flooring and tiles, often installed and purchased for country homes, city terraces and courtyards.
As a Procurement Officer, you will enjoy a varied role which will include supporting and managing suppliers from both the UK and overseas (APAC) as well as negotiating prices, sourcing new products and product development.
You will be responsible for monitoring all purchase orders and chasing suppliers where required, as well as inventory and distribution management to ensure all deliveries are satisfactory. You will also maintain the product codes and prices, in line with the sales department, and be responsible for the management of the supply chain (liaising with management across the various departments).
Knowledge of importing goods from overseas, as well as experience of importing goods and experience in buying/supply chain/procurement is essential.
This is an exciting role, working in a close-knit team in a stunning location - this role will suit a candidate willing to get stuck in and willing to learn new skills too.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm, generous holiday allowance and pension competitive pension also provided.
