This is an exciting time to join Procurement at the Society. We are part of the Risk and Compliance team, supporting one of the fastest growing large charities in the country, this is a newly created role to help assist the increasing volume of Procurement projects to support the Society to achieve its strategic objectives.
The role will provide support to a wide range of indirect categories with a focus on service contracts. The team have developed in house reporting and contract management solutions that you will support to maintain accurate management information.
In addition, you will work alongside the Senior Procurement Manager to develop and embed the policies and procedures that will ensure that every pound we raise is spent effectively to deliver value for money.

About you:
- Excellent commercial skills working within a fast-moving commercial environment.
- Experience of assisting a wide range of indirect procurement across various categories.
- Experience in offering professional, corporate and people services and developing the appropriate contractual documents including relevant schedules and service level agreements.
- Demonstrating your can-do attitude, and a real enthusiasm for becoming involved in all aspects of supporting a procurement team that is solutions focussed and strives for continual improvement.
- Excellent and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent IT skills and extensive experience/knowledge on using Microsoft packages.
- Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
- Advocate for Alzheimer’s Society, demonstrating passion and resilience to make a difference.
- Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
