Our client, a successful manufacturer of non-food machinery, are looking to appoint a Procurement/ Purchasing Manager. This new role would be to grab hold of the existing department and for them to make a lean and effective addition to the business. Therefore, you would be expected to lead from the front, train and encourage the existing team and ultimately save the company money. A minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in this field and, ideally, previously in a senior role. It would be one of your objectives to drive things forward.
Salary of between GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 subject to experience and qualifications.
Your own transport is essential due to the location of the business.
