The Trust Undergraduate Team consists of a group of enthusiastic Clinicians under the leadership of Assistant Director of Medical Education Dr Simon Hill, supported by Teaching Fellow Lead Mr Andrew Bowey and an invaluable team of Administrative staff. We will offer support and supervision over the year as well as training and mentorship so that you develop your own teaching skills and understanding of wider issues in medical education. As well as being offered in-house induction and training, the post holder will be also be supported to undertake the Certificate of Clinical Education at UCLAN as part of this post. For more information about undergraduate teaching and an overview of the Newcastle University MBBS degree programme visit http://www.ncl.ac.uk/mbbs/ or contact Dr Andrew Bowey Andrew.Bowey@nhs.net Personal Education: All staff are encouraged to learn from the extensive clinical education activities that take place in the Trust, and there are a number of weekly meetings that provide excellent educational opportunities.
