Due to expansion an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist has opened up within a global organisation at their Corsham manufacturing site. A role which gives you autonomy for company purchasing and involves tasks including.
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
- Negotiating terms favourable to the company and budget.
- Ensuring all contracts are compliant with organisational policies.
- Identify and implement strategies to minimise supply chain disruptions.
- Continually review supplier performance addressing issues where required.
The Procurement Specialist role requires previous experience within a similar role. If you have worked within buying, purchasing or fulfilment in a manufacturing or engineering environment then this opportunity could be ideal for you. Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills are also key to success within this procurement role.
