About the role

 

Thepurpose of this role is to be responsible for the procurement of equipment, materials and site services for any specified requirements as set out by the ENGIE UK businesses and to provide structure and governance to procurement operations, ensuring compliance with ENGIE group procurement rules.

 

ENGIE are recruiting for aPO Agent based in Stublach Site Office, Northwich. This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and follow up supplier onboarding, procurement requests and orders
  • Ensure that delivery of the product or the service is compliant with the contractual terms (time, quality, price …)
  • Manage daily activities within the “Procure to Receive” process, with purchasing operations policies and procedures
  • Support specifiers and confirm needs
  • Receive procurement requests
  • Record or re-record supply needs
  • Identify and select the best sourcing channel and reference amongst the pre-negotiated framework (suppliers, contracts, catalogues)
  • Ensure good compliance with operating procedures and negotiated contracts/quotes
  • Address inquiries on missing items / order status of products from internal customer
  • Execute the core aspects of the supply process
  • Convert low-to-moderate spend/risk purchase requisitions, covered under contract, to a purchase order (PO); approve POs up to a specified amount

 

 

Key Requirements

 

  • Limited (if any) exposure to each stage of the procurement process from requisition to pay.
  • Experience and ability to work in a dynamic environment balancing demands of day to day workload and general operational requirements.
  • Entry level / minimal exposure of purchasing activities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records/audit trails.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
