This role is within our Networks Distribution IT team supporting our Digital Strategy and Vision to be a progressive network owner, using digital to enhance social and economic value, deliver a leading experience for our customers and to enable the energy system to support net zero carbon emissions.

About the Role
Base Location: Havant, Reading, Perth or Glasgow
Salary: GBP44,195-GBP50,611 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent Full Time Flexible First options available
As a Product Analyst within Distribution IT, you will be supporting the design and development of technology solutions, working with delivery teams and the Product Owner in an agile manner to translate their needs into technology that delivers business value and outcomes.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Supporting the Product Owner to clarify requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development process.
- Delivering product backlog items across the end-to-end product in an agile environment; Delivery work may include representing and modelling data and information, developing training materials and supporting with definition of lean business cases.
- Working collaboratively and developing relationships with business users at different levels of the organisation to document requirements and solution specifications.
- Undertaking analysis tasks under the leadership of a product owner and preparing succinct reports and communications that are tailored to different situations and audiences.
- Contributes to the execution of user system testing and to the test plan for large releases.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical/complex systems.
- Previous experience working in an agile environment and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent analysis skills with a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise own workload within demanding schedules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to take ownership of any requests and issues from all interconnecting and interdependent workstreams and maintains quality of work.
