For UK Only Postings: The Craneware Group supports a flexible work environment as well as a collaborative and teamwork focused atmosphere. Employees will be expected to work a hybrid working arrangement spending 40% of their time per month in the Tanfield office - approx 2 days per week.


The Team

The Craneware Group are looking for talented individuals that are excited about working with Big Data technology to drive improvements in the US-based healthcare market. We are growing a team of strong thinkers and innovators that are willing to work closely with product and customer-facing teams to design and develop new applications in the Cloud.
We are expanding our current platform and SaaS product offerings by using cutting edge technology to process very large data sets that will provide actionable insights for our customers. Architecting our solutions with a best of breed approach to technology, Microsoft Azure and .NET platforms are leveraged in order to provide the necessary scale and rapidly bring products to market. Innovative, collaborative and agile are critical skills that our team members must possess in our environment.
This role is responsible for the overall revenue growth of a product line which includes increasing revenue in existing products and through the development of new products.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will be versatile: a big picture thinker whilst also being able to focus on the tactical work. You will work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.


You Will Be

  • Drive the internal product delivery process and participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies so that high quality products are released on time. These activities include:
  • User Story Writing and Acceptance Criteria Writing
  • Participate in product release planning, iteration planning and retrospective meetings o Sizing and refinement meetings
  • Sign up for normal tasks as part of the delivery team
  • Backlog Prioritization (shared with Product Manager)
  • Work closely with documentation team to create all release notes and user guide(s)
  • Responsibility for sign off of new features, fixes and functionality
  • Work closely with key internal/external stakeholders, particularly customer services & sales, so that customer issues are integrated into product sprints.
  • Communicate business requirements and user personas to the delivery teams so that the delivery team have a better understanding of how customers are using or want to use The Craneware Group Software.
  • Work with Product Manager(s) to make sure key internal/external stake holders have the opportunity to validate key functionality.
  • Work closely with customer services/customers to train on new product releases and help resolve/trouble shoot complex customer issues in order to help drive customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a backup resource providing sales and customer services support where necessary, such as demo support, pre sales RFP responses and attendance at customer meetings, so that The Craneware Group can meet its financial targets and in order to support the drive for customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Product Manager with operational readiness planning for all product launches following the product to market process, so that all key stake holders are able to support new/updated releases.
  • Serve as the primary contact to Engineering on detailed implementation issues that relate to features/functions.
  • Provide cover for the Product Manager in their absence.
  • Project manage product releases end to end; prioritising tasks, meeting the expected deadline and scope of the release.
  • Travel as necessary


You Will Bring

  • 2-4 years’ working as a business analysts or 2-4 years’ experience in a product support role.
  • Possess 2-4 years externally or internally gained knowledge/experience as well as a passion for the relevant area within the revenue cycle of the assigned product line or Healthcare Information Intermediate knowledge of The Craneware Group products and software solutions with in depth knowledge within the revenue cycle of the assigned product line.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related IT or Healthcare field
  • Intermediate knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Knowledge of the market trends that are impacting on the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Knowledge of product management lifecycle
  • Knowledge of The Craneware Group business operations
  • Expert in presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication, including the use of different versions of English UK/US
  • Demonstrable project management skills.

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Resilient and able to cope under pressure, handle conflict and large volumes of work with conflicting priorities
