Responsibilities
- Provide support for the completion of projects
- Create, manage and oversee project plans for all ongoing projects
- Propose and manage the implementation of improvement activities for the Assembly and Product Engineering departments
- Monitor plans and recommend adjustments
- Manage all tooling assets and support the renewal process
- Ensure the maintenance replacement and repair of supplier-loaned production tooling
- Interpret supplier tooling condition reports and understand when escalation is required
- Analysing maintenance histories and improving moulds
- Support the quality department when products don t meet drawing specifications or quality
- Find and implement improvement opportunities
- Ensure external manufacturing processes are capable and consistent
- Work with the Quality Control Department and with suppliers to solve problems.
- Solving assembly problems
- Work with suppliers to propose improvements within the manufacturing process
- Develop the maintenance and delivery of agreed cost savings
- Provide accurate information for the Technical Information Control team to deliver prompt and accurate introductions of Engineering Changes, Bills of Material, Product Promotions and other relevant procedures
- Communicate with suppliers through site visits
Hours
You will be working 39 hrs per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 5.15pm and finishing at 12pm every Friday.
