Form of workI am working with a client in the Hyde area who are looking to recruit a Product Manager on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity which involves taking full ownership of a product(s) within a company and delivering it to market. The successful candidate will develop and lead the vision, roadmap, and strategy for the product, ensuring it meets market needs. They will also manage the product throughout its lifecycle, from conception to obsolescence.
The ideal candidate for this role would have 5 years+ as a Product Manager and has been successful defining and launching products. Experience with consumer products, particularly in the interior, home appliance, lifestyle, or home automation sectors, would be advantageous. A degree in Marketing, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field is required. Strong communication and presentation skills are also essential, along with the ability to effectively manage projects and demonstrate commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate business cases for new products and improvements.
- Own and manage the New Product Development Funnel.
- Create core messaging and positioning for the product(s).
- Report progress to the board of directors.
- Coordinate collaboration between Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Production departments.
