Product Manager - East Leake Based on a Hybrid
Due to a recent promotion here at Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions we have a great opportunity for a successful ProductManager to join our plasterboard team. It is essential that the successful candidate is a well established Product Manager who has had significant exposure to working multi-functionally. It is essential that you are based close to the East Leake as this is a hybrid role.
What you will be doing:
Being the champion of the portfolio. Ensuring your product range has the required focus, resource and commitment from the business. Developing and delivering plans that improve the growth and profitability of the range. Plays an integral role in influencing & delivering to the target portfolio strategy and act as deputy to line manager when required
Utilising the 4 Pillars of Product Management to create and deliver portfolio plans
Strategic Offer, Portfolio Development & Innovation, Portfolio Management & Sales and Marketing Support
- Regularly monthly reporting and analysis of product sales, trend and life cycle data, BCG matrix, key ratios and metrics, product performance (quality, revenue, price, margin, cost etc) in order to inform plans and identify any gaps requiring additional resource and activity
- From the portfolio audit and analysis (as above) manage the marketing mix activities, using the levers of product, price, place and promotion to drive growth and/or profitability of your portfolio Liaises with sector colleagues including sales, systems Manager and Head of Sector Development for R&R. Accesses all insights to keep abreast of sector and customers within.
- In charge of analysis of benchmarking of competitor company capabilities and their specific products against BG variants. Identifies threats and opportunities for the Category to adopt or exploit
- Works with technical to own the process for customer needs based house of quality (HOQ) for category offer. Uses this information to ensure current and future range offer is viable, ensuring customer and BG needs are met.
