Role & Company Background
An exciting Product Manager opportunity has arisen at a rapidly growing manufacturing distribution business, who are market leaders in the power solutions field. This engineering and INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING distributor provide a diverse range of high quality pneumatics and hydraulics products across both the UK and mainland Europe.
Following a series of acquisition and the recruitment of talented & visionary leadership team, they seek a Product Manager who will be responsible for developing a broad variety of market leading pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial products. The successful candidate will possess relevant industry experience / knowledge of INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING, distribution, pneumatics and hydraulics.
The PRODUCT MANAGER should have a solid understanding of user needs and be able to define the product vision through prioritising the development of product features and capabilities. The PRODUCT MANAGER will also be responsible for engaging cross functional stakeholders, monitoring the market and developing competitive analysis.
This a unique opportunity to become an integral part of both a rapidly upscaling power firm and a distinguished leader within their field. With the Product Manager working closely in conjunction with procurement, suppliers, customers and senior stakeholder, there is ample opportunity to make tangible impacts and implement instant change.
They are offering a lucrative package of c.£60 - £70k, as well as flexible hybrid working (2/3 office days per week) out of their Lancashire or Birmingham offices.
Preferable Experience:
- Several years of product management experience with strong product category knowledge within the fields of engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, distribution, manufacturing and industrial parts.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a growth mindset, ambition and the ability influence.
- The ability to operate at pace, be proactive and identify issues and problem solve to improve processes.
