Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model for the role is: Hybird This role is contributing to the Instrument products in Thailand. - Responsible for technical marketing and application support for field instruments and flow meter portfolio. - Ability to engage with customers to give technical and application specific solutions and sell ABB advantages v/s customer requirements - Support to create a marketing plan and strategy for target segment to bring more customers to ABB through channels or directly. - Work closely with channel partners and customers and directly to create a enquiry pipeline for field instruments and flow meters through technical support and site visits - Product demos and visit customers regularly together with front end sales to present these demos and product slides. - Conduct technical support activities for customers and channel partners. Support to resolve technical solutions or issues as required for ABB products. - Competitor technical benchmarking of ABB products Frequency visiting customer to either support the sales team or business development work for key accounts. - Maintain leads and reports in Salesforce.com for strong pipeline and run campaigns.
Qualifications for the role
- Knowledge –BA/BS Engineering in related fields
- About 10 years’ front end sales or product specialist or technical sales experience in field instrument and flow meters
- Strong technical knowledge of instrument product and related applications is a must
- Skills – presentation skills, Technical solution provider
- Bring customer contacts to penetrate new accounts
- Positive attitude to help each other.
- Professional communication with all stake holders including support functions.
- Integrity and code of conduct when working for ABB.
