Product Technologist

Halecroft Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading company in the Home Furnishings industry in their search for a Product Technologistwho is passionate about the product quality, delivery and compliance standards required to reach the UK High Street retail and e-commerce sectors. Working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers, you will take an important role in ensuring a product moves from its design and development stage into the hands of the end user.

Responsibilities:

• Attend pre-prod handover meetings to ensure product compliance, quality and performance

• Issue detailed product, imagery and outer packaging specifications

• Populate and manage relevant sections of a detailed critical path

• Check fabrics and packaging proofs and liaise with suppliers

• Provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders

• Evaluate and approve reports from overseas teams

• Answer daily emails sent from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role

• A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with an attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication

• A 360 attitude to problem solving and analysis

• Confident to make decisions and take responsibility and seek advice as needed

• Previous experience in the Home Textile, Ceramic and / or Furniture industry

• Ability to work effectively and remain calm and composed in a high pressure environment

Working Hours:   8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 4pm on Friday

Working From Home:  1-2 days a week
