Production Administrator

Your new companyHays are working with a renowned company in Telford who are looking to recruit a Production Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a very exciting role which is due to rapid growth.Your new roleAs a Production Administrator, your role will be to define, assign and sequence production orders to ensure reliability of production dates by taking into account customer priorities, production constraints, flows and global process efficiency.Duties will include:

• Manage daily production and subset scheduling.
• Define production start dates according weekly master.
• Production Planning
• Customer needs/escalations, components availability, industrial constraints and global efficiency.
• Update production scheduling based on customer priorities and shop floor events.
• Manage capacity planning.
• Set & maintain Master Data from new products introduction to end of life.
• Apply standard process and propose counter measure based on KPIs results.
• Participate to Value Stream Mapping on the shop floor and propose actions to reduce Lead Time.
• Measure scheduling performance and propose counter measures (OEE / units / production incentive data / etc.)
• Test new D&I solutions and support in their implementation
• Support internal kanban
• Ensure communication with stakeholders.
• Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Customer Services

What you'll need to succeed

• Graduate level
• Knowledge of production scheduling / planning (preferred but not essential)
