JOB PURPOSE:
This Production Administrator is required to support all Production & Maintenance areas, reporting directly to the Plant Director.
Via the direction of the Plant Director, you will lead and provide support on various site-based projects and facilitate senior management events as requested. Committed to working in a diligent manner the Administrator provides a professional and highly respectful service to a multitude of key stakeholders and provides ongoing support and improvements to site wide commitments.
Working independently, you will support the Plant Director in compiling reports required for weekly and monthly meetings. As well as ensuring budgets remain within agreed and established boundaries. The role is varied and at times you may be moved between in teams, with the aim of developing new tasks and processes.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Raising PCR's (Purchase commitment requests) and PO's (purchase orders for invoices).
  • Management of the diary for the Plant Director, booking in visitors, company car collections, expenses and updating our Time Management System.
  • Raising travel requests for approval and ensuring trips are booked in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Ad-hoc administration, tasks such as: booking meeting rooms, overtime approval sheets, security passes, management of team holiday chart and skills matrix.
  • You will create, modify, and generate reports against maintenance KPI's.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of working within a busy administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills of both self and others with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple conflicting demands on time.
  • Good level of verbal and written communication.
  • Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Experience within automotive operations beneficial, with a basic understanding of build process.
  • The role will suit a highly motivated individual who is able to build strong working relationships inside and outside of the department whilst maintaining a punctual and professional attitude. This is a busy role and would suit someone who thrives of a fast-paced environment.
  • Can work on own initiative.
  • Can work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work incremental hours at short notice, when necessary, to ensure that production requirements can be achieved.
  • Full driving licence is required.
  • Able to travel at short notice within the UK to other sites.
