SalaryAn exciting position for an experienced Production Administrator has arisen with our long-established manufacturing client based in Sittingbourne. Our client has been established for over fifty years and it operates in both UK and Europe. They have grown from strength to strength and due to business demands are now recruiting for an experienced.
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week ( Monday - Friday office hours)
Salary: Competitive

Overview of the role :
To offer complete administration support to the Model Shop department, deal with suppliers around the world sourcing, purchasing the necessary components, and maintaining the Model Shop work schedule. Always ensuring quality and delivery dates are achieved. The role will involve assisting with any warehouse administration during busy times.
The Role
- Complete administration support to the model shop department
- Raise purchase orders as required and obtain acknowledgments
- Liaise with suppliers from around the world to source and purchase the necessary components, always ensure production deadlines are met
- Process Bills of Materials
- Raise production orders as and when required by the procurement team
- To follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on the agreed date
- General administration duties
Suitable Candidate:
- Experienced administration - preferably from a manufacturing or engineering environment
- The suitable candidate must have the ability to liaise with suppliers from around the world, negotiating prices and deadlines for all projects
- Must be able to process BOM s and purchase orders
- Strong Word and Excel skills
- Good customer service skills
