Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure correct and efficient set up of production lines including prestart check paperwork are completed in full.
- To organise ingredients and packaging required to fulfil production orders and volume
- To execute the manager/supervisor's production plan adhering to allergen running orders set out by the manager/supervisor
- To check that products meet company requirements and customer specification
- To complete quality and production documentations as required
- To train new employees and agency workers on department specifics
- To implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace and lead by example
- To observe and enforce appropriate Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures at all times
- To undertake other appropriate duties as deemed necessary within the scope of the role
- To utilise all staff cost effectively to the daily business requirements

**Essential criteria for this role:
- At least 12 months of practical hands on experience in food manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of word and excel are essential.
- Food quality and integrity focused.
- Confident and clear verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.
- To undertake other appropriate duties as deemed necessary within the scope of the role.
- Initiative to drive and meet targets.
**Desirable Criteria:
- Food Safety Level 2 or above
- Health & Safety / First Aid related qualifications
- Experience of managing delivery to high end multiple retailers

- Day shift
- Weekend availability
