Yolk Recruitment is excited to be working with a globally renowned manufacturer that is embarking on high-value contracts. We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their thriving team and provide engineering expertise during this exciting period of growth and new projects.

This is what you'll be doing

• Overseeing and improving production methods to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Creating and maintaining detailed process instructions to ensure smooth workflow.
• Analyzing production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Develop and update work instructions to ensure best practices are followed.
• Identify areas for improvement in production methods and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support research and development initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety and quality audits to maintain high production standards.

This is what you'll need

• Proven background as a Production or Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to project management.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
