Production Engineer (Transfer Press)

As an experienced Production Engineer and being familiar with Transfer Press Machines you will be able to diagnose and rectify faults associated with Tooling wear and component quality. 5-10 years’ experience is desirable however not essential.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in using a range of tool room/workshop based machinery.
• Familiar with Transfer Press Machines
• 5-10 years’ experience working in a production environment.
• A good mechanical aptitude.
• The ability to diagnose faults with machine wear and component quality.
• Self-disciplined, self-motivated and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015.
• Excellent communication skills.

Duties will include:

• Investigate and offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions.
• To assist in maintaining product output on the Transfer Press Machine
• Assist within production when necessary to maintain production output.
• Assist in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff.
• Diagnose faults and repair Transfer Press machines and associated equipment.
• Complete and update tasks using a maintenance-based software.
• Assist with any other requirements associated with the Lathe area department.
