As Production Engineer, you will oversee, support, and manage the design, build of new fixtures jigs and processes, along with installation, programming and maintenance of equipment, and machinery to support production.
You will create and modify programs on automation equipment such as 3 and 6 axis robots, an automated paint line and metalizing machines. Design development and modifications will be completed using Solidworks to aid NPI and existing production. You'll need to be a team player as you'll be spending 50% of your time on desk-based aspects and the other 50% on practical aspects such as working with the test department to assist with specifications or providing equipment.
Any successful applicant will need to be qualified in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to level 3 at a minimum or have an equivalent level of experience. Experience with Solidworks is essential, coupled with an exposure to robot / CNC programming.
