Our Dorking based client, an International Manufacturer and Supplier are looking to recruit a Production Line Operative to work in their busy and fast paced factory, based in Dorking. This is a 12 week temp to perm position.
Following the Team Leaders instructions, you will be responsible for setting up, running and cleaning down the factory lines according to production schedules and then be responsible for ensuring finished products are ready for distribution.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, and once trained, will be capable of acting on your own initiative and be prepared to assume responsibility for the quality of your own work. You will need to be flexible and either work independently or as part of a team.
Additional duties and responsibilities will include:-
- Observing and adhering to Health and Safety procedures.
- Achieving daily production targets set out by the Team Leader
- Filling out and completing all daily paperwork.
- Maintain a clear and tidy working environment at all times.
This is a temp to perm role and as Production Line Operative you will be paid £10.75 per hour and £12 after probation. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm.
