Cantello Tayler Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a growing organisation based in Egham.

Production operative responsibilities include:

• To always follow the health and safety procedures of the company
• Ensure that all the employees of the company work in a safe environment
• To complete works orders to manufacture, test and pack products following standard procedures and quality standard
• Complete or part-complete (for multi-operator works orders) works orders efficiently, in line with the issued production procedure with zero defects.
• Identify issues or opportunities for improvement for production procedures
• Improve the production processes of the company to build products more efficiently or improve the quality.
• To learn new products and become autonomous in completing a works order for that product.
• Increase the number of products the operator is able to build which increases the companies production capacity and flexibility.
• To increase the number of production operators able to build a product to improve capacity and flexibility
• Complete ad hoc tasks as requested
• Support the business in managing day to day non-standard activity e.g. removing large amounts of packaging, reorganising a work area

The Production Operative will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working within a production/warehouse environment
• Has an interest in engineering
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Health and Safety awareness and experience adhering to working within a safe environment
• Strong attention to detail
