What does the day to day look like?
- Set a positive example in compliance, ensuring adherence to all policies and guidelines.
- Promote health and safety awareness among employees and contractors, leading on performance and compliance.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance outages to enhance safety and efficiency, and execute annual maintenance shutdowns.
- Ensure production targets align with budget commitments and manage the performance and efficiency of Production Operations.
- Develop and maintain a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, maximizing equipment availability and efficiency.
- Implement measures to foster a continuous improvement culture and establish internal benchmarking for best practices.
- Communicate effectively with local management and site personnel, fostering a positive team culture.
- Conduct formal performance reviews, manage absenteeism, and participate in recruitment and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure staff have necessary resources and training, and oversee scheduling, time off requests, and overtime.
- Contribute to strategic development through capital projects and ensure continual improvement of the production plant.
Are you who we’re looking for?
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Analytical capacity to identify and address technical issues/opportunities which can impact upon production and quality.
- An understanding of Total Quality Management.
- Foster a continuous improvement approach, benchmarking internally and externally to track progress.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Superior communications skills at all levels.
- Experience in troubleshooting installation, fault finding, and repairs.
