SalaryMy client are currently looking to on board a Production Manager, who would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production on site, towards ensuring a robust manufacturing process. You'll be part of the senior leadership team and this role will be instrumental in supporting the Operations Director in driving process improvement initiatives for the business.

Description
- Overseeing all aspects of the production process while prioritising adherence to health and safety guidelines consistently
- Plan and coordinate production schedules efficiently
- Adjust and enhance productivity as needed
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel
- Provide effective leadership to the production team
- Ensure that the output meets established quality standards
- Maintain communication with internal and external clients/customers
- Monitor and address the skill requirements of the production team, support team in upskilling themselves
- Use data to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement activities
- Minimize machine downtime by monitoring the condition and maintenance of plant machinery
Profile
- Prior experience in welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work is a must have
- Demonstrate understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in managing a team / overseeing production processes
- Understanding of health & safety protocols, equipment maintenance
- Proficient in using MS Office and ERP software
- Results-driven approach with a strategic mindset
Job Offer
- Salary: £45k - £50 base (some flex)
