Our Client:
Our Client is a leading supplier of tactical clothing and equipment to the military, special forces and emergency services. They have developed a specialist reputation for designing and engineering some of the best quality, functional clothing & equipment out there. Based in Devon we are now looking to strengthen our team with a Production Merchandiser to support the Production Manager.
The Role:
- This role is in a very fast paced environment based full time in Exeter.
- Planning and monitoring all live orders.
- Updating Critical Path
- Raising Po's for fabric, trims, and garments
- Checking and negotiating prices for fabric, trims etc
- Co-coordinating shipping and logistics
- Co-coordinating QC, technical, customer and supplier requirements
Skills and Requirements:
- Must have a textile background and experience of working with multiple suppliers across the UK, EU Middle East, and Far East.
- You will be someone who will take ownership of your workload, involving high pressure tasks and quick responses, spanning multiple countries, time zones and production facilities.
- Versatile and proactive.
- Ability to work independently, to be highly organised and to manage and work to deadlines.
- Confident communication skills and highly computer literate.
- Must be a team player.
