Production Moulding Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Shift Technician to join our team in Gillingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of injection moulding machines and conducting necessary tool changes/replacements during the production process.

Job Title: Production Shift Technician

Location: Gillingham

Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

Salary: GBP36,(Apply online only) per annum

Contract: Temp to perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production processes.
• Performing tool changes and replacements according to production requirements.
• Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime.
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Collaborating with team members to optimize production output and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in processing injection moulding machines and changing/replacing moulding tools.
• Forklift truck driver's license or ability to pass the test.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
