Production Operative 2Pm-10Pm

My client a well established manufacturing business based in Blackburn is looking for a production worker to join their afternoon shift working a permanent 2pm-10pm shift.

Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Maintain accurate production records and reports

Requirements:
- Production knowledge and aptitude for operating production equipment
- Familiar with food safety regulations and practices
- Previous experience in food production or related industry is preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production quantities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
