General concrete processing operatives required to work in busy work-shops at Langar, NG13 9HY
Unbrako Pre-Cast Concrete are a leading manufacturer of precast concrete solutions.
We cast approximately 150m3 of concrete each day from our on-site batching plant. As we expand our operations here at Langar we are looking for enthusiastic people who are looking to grow with the business and therefore join us on this exciting journey. In this growing business sector, Unbrako’s pre-cast concrete solutions require the highest quality standards to be maintained, meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations is key to our success.
As part of a new production team you will be required to set concrete moulds, pe-stress and tension concrete casting beds, pour & finish concrete to our specified standards, disassemble the beds and moulds the following day in readiness to repeat the manufacturing process. Experience in using overhead gantry cranes, abrasive wheels, heavy machinery and lifting equipment is part of the role and therefore a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
We operate a 7 day per week manufacturing schedule therefore a reasonable level of overtime may be required.
Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 06.00 - 15.00, some flexibility may be required.
Training will be provided where necessary.
PLEASE NOTE - OWING TO OUR RURAL LOCATION YOUR OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay band: £12.00 to £16.00 per hour dependent on experience and skill set.
