Are you an accomplished expert with a keen eye for detail looking for an opportunity in the fresh produce sector? We are now looking for applicants for our client, a major participant in the fast-paced food industry in the UK, to fill the position of QC Operative.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will be reporting to the Quality Control lead and your role encompasses helping with the implementation of food safety and quality standards on site and to ensure that they are always adhered to.
· You will be responsible for quality checks and quality assurance for all the products on site.
· Take part in hygienic sampling and environmental swabs.
· Take part in on-site audits, these will include GMP and Hygiene audits.
· Inputting data onto company system.
· Carry out calibration checks of equipment on site. E.g temperature checks
· Raise any non-conformances and take part in the investigation.
Requirements
- Company is ideally looking for an individual from a Food production background and has knowledge of quality control.
- Good computer literacy
- Good communication skills and able to work well in a team
- Driver’s License (Non-negotiable)
