SalaryMDH Recruitment are recruiting for a nightshift production operator for our client based in Loanhead. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to work with a well-run business where you will be able to develop your career in the manufacturing industry.
Start date for this role is Monday 25th March 2024
This is a nightshift role - 10pm to 8am.
FOUR DAY WEEK. Monday to Thursday. You will be off every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. NO WEEKEND WORK.
£12.07 per hour - Weekly pay.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to produce parts that meet our clients’ high-quality standards. This role involves setting up machine and monitoring the production for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines for production runs, including installing moulds and setting machine parameters based on the product specifications.
- Monitor the production process to identify adjustments in machine settings or materials to improve the quality and efficiency of production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating parts, to prevent malfunctions and extend machine lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and product quality issues promptly.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be a big plus.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
