We are recruiting for a skilled machine operative to operate a sawmill in a clean and bright manufacturing environment. The company is a successful growing employer that can offer a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate along with ongoing training and development opportunities within the business. The role is based within a tight knit friendly team and interviews will be scheduled immediately!
Job Description:
- Set up and operate machines to cut material
- Read drawings to determine the correct measurements
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience setting and operating a sawmill
- Ability to read drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
