Production Operatives

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom People as a Production Operative.

Kingdom People are recruiting for several Production Operatives to work at one of our client’s sites, the customer is a leading tomato grower.

Where:Southport, PR9 area.

Hours: On average 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 06:30am - 15:30pm or Tuesday to Saturday 06:30am - 18:30pm.

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour.

The role:

Production Operatives will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):

• Checking the product matches the packaging.
• Planting tomatoes according to instructions.
• Packing products in warehouse.
• Following site rules and procedures.
• Filling in paperwork if required.
• Quality control of products.
• Reporting issues to team leader.
• Manual handling will be required.

Requirements:

Production Operatives ideally need to fulfil the following requirements:

• Be able to work 9-12 hourr shifts.
• Previous experience not required.
• Being able to commute to Tarleton, PR9 8DX (public transport available from Southport and Preston)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
