AddressWe are looking for hardworking Production Operatives to join us on our site at Darley Dale, Derbyshire. Ecobat Resources is a world leader in the responsible recycling and production of resources essential to modern life. We are the world’s largest producer of lead and lead alloys used in energy storage solutions and a range of other industrial and commercial applications. Alongside our lead production and recycling operations, Ecobat Resources also manages the recycling of polypropylene used in the development of premium polymer solutions.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 12-hour shifts (continental shift pattern).
Previous experience in a hot metal environment is desirable.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all work carried out conforms to the requirements of Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy policies.
- Working in extreme conditions where health and safety is paramount.
- Working safely and efficiently, whilst following all company procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with PPE standards at all times e.g. air-flow helmets, P3 masks, heavy overalls, nitrile gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs etc.
- Maintain high standards of operational performance, housekeeping, HSE etc.
- Give blood lead sampling as required to monitor blood lead levels.
- Ability to learn quickly and undertake training as required
- Liaise with other process workers, Team Leaders and other personnel in any relevant department to ensure smooth running of the area.
- Undertake any duties allocated by the Team Leader, Site Coordinator or other senior managers as and when required.
