Job Title; Production Operator
Location: Northampton
Job Length: 3 Month FTC
Working Hours / Shift: We offer 2 different shift patterns between Canning and Bottle/Keg department.
- 4 on, 4 off shift pattern – Working a 12 hour day with 2 days on day shift (6am to 6pm) and 2 days on the night shift (6pm and 6am) followed by 4 days off.
- 3 shift rotating pattern – Working either 3 or 4 days in a 7 day period, covering both day shift (6am to 6pm) and night shift (6pm to 6am).
Salary:£35,525.07 + Shift Allowance

Key Accountabilities:
- To operate the plant and to provide a comprehensive production service in accordance with standard operating methods.
- Achieve production plans, sample plans, service level agreements and key performance targets.
- Actively take ownership for problem solving, process optimisation and continuous improvement activities
- Play a key role in the development of best practice.
- Drive initiatives for health and safety & environmental improvements
- Improve and maintain satisfactory hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Support all team members and develop positive relationships with colleagues through effective communication and feedback.
- Establish effective relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure productivity from each shift is optimised.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow pre-determined process by the production team.
- IT literate (QC/SPC, Word, Excel)
- Have knowledge of the relevant Health, Safety & Environmental considerations
- Understanding of ‘right first time’ principles
- Experience of working in a fast-moving production environment
