CDT specialise in plastic moulding manufacturing, including electrical components and custom prototype fabrication. Established in 1986, they combine technical expertise with a flexible, fabrication service meaning there is no limit on size or quantity, allowing for easy changes from their clients between production runs.
They are currently looking for 2 Production Operatives to join their current team. You will be responsible for the operation of certain machinery, assembly and manufacture of components and products manufactured by CDT.
Job Description:
The Employment Group are currently working in partnership with a well-known, plastic moulding manufacturing company based in the Brackley area. You will be joining a well-established company who have been trading since 1986.
They are currently looking for 2 Production Operatives to join their team, you will be responsible for the operation of certain machinery as well as working both as part of a team and solo to complete set tasks and ensure that products are completed within set timescales and to specific quality levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate and monitor machinery used in the production of plastic enclosures, PCB's and components for the manufacture of finished goods.
- Follow standardized operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent quality and output.
- Assemble plastic enclosure components accurately and efficiently, following assembly diagrams and technical specifications.
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components accurately and efficiently into plastic enclosures, following assembly diagrams and technical specifications.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and adjusting as necessary.
- Assist in the setup and changeover of machines for different production runs.
- Monitor production output and report any issues or discrepancies to the Production Supervisor.
- Soldering of PCB's and cable assemblies.
The requirements of this role include:
- Previous experience as a production operative, especially within a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Experience working with soldering equipment is desirable
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of the produced products

Pay Rates:
11.50 per hour
